We are continuously upgrading Cloud Fleet Manager, adding new functionality, enhancements and improving the overall usability. With this article, we would like to give you a brief overview of some of the greater edits to the system. New features and enhancements

CFM Portal
CFM Portal gives all your employees access to one central source of information. Every onshore user has a clear dashboard view of the latest and most important information on staff, departments and ships right at the beginning of the workday. Whether it’s a crew change, expired certificate or staff absence, you can efficiently identify critical incidents and prioritise your response.
- Activities created by CSM users working under a vessel rank now include a Look Up option. Office teams can see which crew members held that rank on board at the time, together with their photo, name and embarkation date, improving traceability across vessel activity records.

CFM Crewing
CFM Crewing is your one-stop solution to handle all crew-related tasks centrally and in an intuitive way. From master data management of seafarers, planning the crews on board as well as their relief, the management of working and rest hours of the crew up to managing payrolls, everything can be done in one single solution.
- Administrators can now create, edit, archive and delete seafarer statuses directly within CFM Crewing, providing greater control without requiring Helpdesk support.
- Seafarer Performance reports now provide additional information and filters for training needs, promotion potential, re-employment and related indicators, helping teams evaluate performance and plan future development more effectively.
- Crew Change reports now include both active and inactive vessels, ensuring historical crew change information remains accessible for vessels that are no longer under active management.
- The Monthly Wages grid now supports Special Allotments and the management of all payment position types, allowing payroll teams to handle more wage components within one central view.
- Rotation Planning now allows users to select all ranks or complete rank groups at once, reducing manual effort when setting up crew rotations.
- The Compliance view in Crew List and Planning now includes a text filter, making it easier to locate specific document requirements and compliance records within large lists.
- A new setting provides greater control over how travel expenses, cash advances and Bonded Store transactions appear in ShipClient payslip exports, including the option to show detailed amounts, currencies, dates and exchange rates.
- Payments affected by cancelled MarTrust Paycycles are now easier to identify and manage, with clear indicators in the Payments sidebar and notifications linking users directly to the relevant closed payments.

CFM Disturbance Report
CFM Disturbance Report lets your crew easily create detailed, standardised service requests that can be directly assigned to the person responsible and which will then appear automatically within their dashboard. You can follow-up all service requests in a Kanban view, which gives you a full transparency an all pending requests and their individual status.
- Disturbance Report categories can now be archived instead of deleted, keeping selection lists relevant while preserving categories used in historical reports.

CFM Inventory
CFM Inventory allows you to keep track of all equipment, materials or supplies in stock on individual vessels. To enhance clarity, you can easily define various storage locations on board your vessels and categorise your stock, either by using pre-defined categories from settings or by simply specifying your own on the fly.
The Shortage and Overstocking dashboard cards now link directly to the relevant inventory records, helping users investigate stock issues more quickly.

CFM MRV & IMO DCS
CFM MRV & IMO DCS enables you to easily record and analyse all key figures required to achieve compliance with both the EU MRV and IMO DCS regulations. The required data can be entered directly on board, all further calculations are carried out automatically in the system, you only have to forward the results.
- Bunker Report exports now include every component of blended fuels, together with the associated delivery, fuel property, emissions and energy-share information required for more complete reporting.
- Log Abstract exports now provide BDN-level consumption and related remaining-on-board values for applicable MRV reports, giving users a more detailed and accurate view of reported fuel quantities.
- ShipClient reports now bring consumption and remaining-on-board information together in a combined view, with a choice between Consumption Based and Legacy ROB reporting. Depending on the selected method, ROB values are either calculated automatically from recorded consumption or can be entered directly, while equipment-level consumption, biofuels and calculated MRV values are supported within the same workflow.
- IMO DCS exports now include blended bunker components and emission factors for CO₂, CH₄ and N₂O, with fuel, voyage, port-leg and cargo information aligned more closely with the underlying Bunker Reports.

CFM Maintenance
CFM Maintenance allows you to plan your maintenance work centrally, precisely and according to your requirements. It gives you full visibility of your fleet status and lets you regain control over the maintenance jobs of your fleet.
- Components in Fair or Bad condition are now easier to identify through visual indicators in the component tree and a dedicated Component Condition Overview. Users can review affected components by condition and last update, then open the relevant component directly for further action.

CFM Vessel Particulars
CFM Vessel Particulars lets you set up the foundation of your successful vessel management. Record and maintain a vast amount of specific data for every vessel and let your departments benefit from data such as dimensions, capacities, propulsion, consumptions, or delivery information for a smooth acceleration of their individual businesses.
- Vessel particulars now support separate TEU and FEU capacities for deck and hold spaces, enabling more precise recording and reporting of maximum 20-foot and 40-foot container intake.

CFM Procedures
CFM Procedures enables you to send instructions to your vessels fast and easily, making sure that your fleet is up to date regarding e.g. safety instructions - achieving compliance with ease. Effortlessly send company policies and work instructions, or assign responsibilities aboard your ships.
- Approvers can now subscribe to email and in-app notifications when procedures are submitted for approval, helping teams respond promptly while maintaining a clear audit trail.

CFM Purchase
CFM Purchase provides you with all sections of the purchasing process at one point in an intelligently structured manner, gives you full control over your budgets and allows your suppliers to work directly with this information. Thanks to an intuitive dashboard that features the most relevant information and upcoming tasks, CFM Purchase always focuses on what is important and streamlines the complete purchasing workflow.
- Currencies and exchange rates can now be updated on Purchase Orders before confirmation. Linked inquiry values are adjusted automatically, while every change is recorded to maintain a complete audit trail.
- The Open Approvals dashboard card now brings pending requisitions, orders and invoices together in one view, giving responsible users a clearer overview of everything awaiting their approval.
- A new Catalog Overview Report provides a central view of all purchasing catalogues, including assigned vessel groups, item counts and last-edited dates, making catalogue structures easier to review and manage.
- Invoice processing now provides a clear comparison of ordered, delivered and invoiced quantities. Users can adjust invoice quantities where necessary, with warnings for values that exceed confirmed deliveries and full tracking of any changes.
- Purchase Inquiries can now be sent automatically to selected procurement providers. Eligible inquiries are queued with a clear Awaiting Transmission status, reducing manual distribution effort and improving visibility of the process.

CFM Schedules and Agents
CFM Schedules & Agents enables you to organise your fleet’s schedules and agent master-data in one shared resource and let your crew take part in schedule management. Schedules, as well as agent’s master data, can be directly entered on board and synchronised with the office, making the information automatically accessible in the Portal, Partner Portal and in your mobile app.
- When an ETD or TOD changes in ShipClient, users can now apply the same day offset to subsequent ETAs and ETDs or update only the selected entry, making schedule adjustments faster and more controlled.

CFM Certificates
CFM Certificates ensures that you all your necessary certificates are up to date and this way, that your vessels are seaworthy. It provides you with various options for the setup of certificate types, such as pre-warning periods, categorization on the revalidation (on expiry, annual or intermediate surveys), the definition of port- or flag-state requirements, or the assignment of responsibilities.
- ShipClient certificate tables now provide automatically calculated survey periods and dates on hover, giving crews clearer access to the same survey information available ashore in CFM.
