New features and enhancements

CFM Crewing

CFM Crewing is your one-stop solution to handle all crew-related tasks centrally and in an intuitive way. From master data management of seafarers, planning the crews on board as well as their relief, the management of working and rest hours of the crew up to managing payrolls, everything can be done in one single solution.

  • Seafarer profiles now display an automatically calculated BMI based on the recorded height and weight, giving crewing teams immediate access to this information without manual calculation.
  • When a seafarer’s assignment rank differs from the rank stored in their profile, users can now update it automatically during embarkation through the Assignments and Crew Change Over workflows.
  • Amounts and remarks can now be entered immediately when adding an additional earning or deduction, reducing the number of steps required to complete payroll entries.
  • Administrators can now define which assignment planning statuses are displayed in Partner Portal and synchronised to CSM, giving organisations greater control over when planned crew information is shared.
  • Rank-specific contract durations can now be configured separately for individual vessels, allowing crewing teams to reflect more precise operational and contractual requirements.
  • The Travel Expenses view now includes filter pills that highlight pending items, helping users identify expenses that still require action without reviewing the complete list.
  • Home Allotment and Special Allotment exports can now be downloaded directly from their respective section views, removing the need to return to the Dashboard.
  • The Home Allotment view now shows monthly totals for each currency, allowing payroll users to assess payment amounts without manually adding individual entries.
  • When confirming a performance report that marks a seafarer as Not for Re-employment, users now receive a warning reminding them to follow the relevant internal procedures before finalising the decision.
  • Rotation Planning can now be grouped either by vessel or by rank, making it easier to plan crew changes from a fleet-wide or position-specific perspective.
  • Pool Report exports now include the same visual summaries available in CFM, with pie charts showing seafarer distributions by age, nationality, agency and rank, including percentages. This makes workforce insights easier to share with colleagues who do not have direct system access.

CFM Employees

CFM Employees makes all staff information visible and accurate. Simply organise your staff within departments, define regular working days and hours, vacation entitlement, job description and contact details. Manage holidays, travels, and any other absence of your employees within a single view.

  • When a sickness period overlaps with an existing out-of-office absence or holiday, CFM Employees now cancels or splits the affected record automatically, reducing manual administration and preventing conflicting absences.
  • When an employee record is deleted, the linked user account is now archived rather than permanently removed, preserving the audit history and allowing the account to be restored when required.

CFM Maintenance

CFM Maintenance allows you to plan your maintenance work centrally, precisely and according to your requirements. It gives you full visibility of your fleet status and lets you regain control over the maintenance jobs of your fleet.

  • The Job Definitions list can now be sorted by job name or internal code, helping users locate specific jobs more quickly.

CFM Purchase

CFM Purchase provides you with all sections of the purchasing process at one point in an intelligently structured manner, gives you full control over your budgets and allows your suppliers to work directly with this information. Thanks to an intuitive dashboard that features the most relevant information and upcoming tasks, CFM Purchase always focuses on what is important and streamlines the complete purchasing workflow.

  • Invoices can now include an optional external link, allowing users to open related records or supporting information in another system directly from CFM Purchase.
  • Inquiry, Inquiry Quote, Order and Invoice templates now support merge fields for supplier terms and conditions, including Incoterms, payment terms, delivery lead time, spare-part quality level and currency.
  • A new setting can automatically mark requisition documents as **Send with Inquiry**, removing the need to select each attachment manually when preparing supplier inquiries.
  • Purchase Requisition comment notifications now show the comment preview, author and timestamp, allowing users to understand the update without first opening the requisition.

CFM Users

The Users module serves for administrating and maintaining CFM users and CFM Partner Portal users. You can easily create new user profiles, authorize users to use certain apps and assign responsibilities.

  • User permissions can now be searched and organised through collapsible sections, making large permission sets easier to review and manage.
  • Administrators can now define separate permissions for adding catalogue items and custom items to vessel and office requisitions, providing more precise control over who can add each type of purchasing item.

CFM Certificates

CFM Certificates ensures that you all your necessary certificates are up to date and this way, that your vessels are seaworthy. It provides you with various options for the setup of certificate types, such as pre-warning periods, categorization on the revalidation (on expiry, annual or intermediate surveys), the definition of port- or flag-state requirements, or the assignment of responsibilities.

  • Users can now select or deselect all vessels at once when assigning certificate relations, significantly reducing manual effort for certificates that apply across the fleet.
