CFM Updates - February 2025

This month we added 11 new features and 21 enhancements to CFM. We present our highlights of February.

We are continuously upgrading Cloud Fleet Manager, adding new functionality, enhancements and improving the overall usability. With this article, we would like to give you a brief overview of some of the greater edits to the system. For a comprehensive overview of all changes, you can visit the "What's New" report in Cloud Fleet Manager at any time to see what exactly happened in each of our modules.

New features and enhancements

CFM Crewing

CFM Crewing is your one-stop solution to handle all crew-related tasks centrally and in an intuitive way. From master data management of seafarers, planning the crews on board as well as their relief, the management of working and rest hours of the crew up to managing payrolls, everything can be done in one single solution.

  • Crewing reports have been enhanced with new functionality. The Fare Report now includes the selected travel agency and allows direct navigation to the relevant seafarer profile, while the Experience Report is now available as a Microsoft Excel export including the overall experience of seafarers. In addition, double-clicking report entries now takes users directly to the relevant section within CFM Crewing.
  • Compliance management has been enhanced. Mandatory assignment documents are no longer generated for off-signed assignments, while rest hour deficiencies now display the number of affected days within a month for quicker assessment.
  • ShipClient has been enhanced with mandatory passport numbers to support regulatory compliance, read-only payroll positions generated from payment settings and an extended Dynamic Crew List export including a new Domain Login field.
  • Disciplinary records now display the user who created them, improving traceability.

CFM Disturbance Report

CFM Disturbance Report lets your crew easily create detailed, standardised service requests that can be directly assigned to the person responsible and which will then appear automatically within their dashboard. You can follow-up all service requests in a Kanban view, which gives you a full transparency an all pending requests and their individual status.

  • A new Linked Components Overview dashboard card provides visibility of CFM Maintenance components linked to disturbance reports, including grouping, sorting and filtering options for easier follow-up.

CFM Incidents

CFM Incidents enables you to seamlessly document any incidents or near-misses that occurred onboard your vessels. After an event has been documented, corrective or preventive actions can be defined as well and are then automatically synchronised with the office.

  • Incident Report exports now include follow-up details, providing a more comprehensive overview of recorded incidents.

CFM Pharmacy

CFM Pharmacy lets you manage and administrate all medication on board easily and comfortably. The app enables you to inventory all medicine on board, records who has received what kind of medication and also tracks expiration dates.

  • Pharmacy inventory exports now include a dedicated Group column, making it easier to sort, filter and review medicines.

CFM Purchase

CFM Purchase provides you with all sections of the purchasing process at one point in an intelligently structured manner, gives you full control over your budgets and allows your suppliers to work directly with this information. Thanks to an intuitive dashboard that features the most relevant information and upcoming tasks, CFM Purchase always focuses on what is important and streamlines the complete purchasing workflow.

  • Agent selection for deliveries has been refined. Port deliveries no longer preselect agents, while schedule-based deliveries automatically use the assigned schedule agent where available.
  • Approval generation rules can now be configured for invoices, allowing approval workflows to be automated when defined conditions are met.
  • Catalog imports now provide greater control by allowing users to decide whether missing items should be added only or whether items no longer included should also be removed.
